LO2: To aid with my texturing process I went to a Rave late on how to texture in Photoshop. while many of the techniques were familiar i did learn a useful tip to help me paint in 2D. This trick is to set up and bake an Ambient Occlusion to the UV pass. This results in a grey scale image which acts almost like shading. |
LO3: I added this to the UVs in A3 formate for printing resulting in a mesh and shading which showed me which parts of Draco would receive most light. This helped with understanding which parts of the UV was what. i.e. shading on the underbelly shows areas that are close to the leg.
